We are off to a GREAT start with the marching band. We are learning which foot is our left foot and sort of what a straight line is. If you are a former band member, have your child march 8 to 5 with you. Starting next week, the week of September 17th, we will put the full band together for practices after school. The weather has cooled down some, but it is still hot. Please send in a 12 pack or 24 pack of water, cokes, etc., so we can give the marching band members at the end of practice.
SIXTH GRADE GENERAL MUSIC
Look for an information sheet this week with your child about our first music project. Students have the option to do the music project. The grade they receive for the music project will replace any grade they have for the nine weeks.
Information sheets are due now. Many students have not turned in their information sheets. As soon as your child turns in their information sheet, Mr. Lane will change your child’s grade.
All general music students, as part of their grade, must come each class period with a music folder and pencil or pen.
