Congratulations to all of our GMS Band members that participated in the Overton Honor Band last Saturday. After only 3 hours of rehearsal on Saturday morning they played an AWESOME Concert on Saturday afternoon. Congratulations to these band members.

There will be Pencil Tests and Winterwind Measures numbered in class all this week for the 7th and 8th grade band members.

There will be playing tests this week for all 7th and 8th grade band members on Winterwinds.

There will be playing tests this week for all 6th grade band members on Coldwater Creek.

All band members are required to practice no less than 90 minutes a week as part of their grade.

Six Flags Trip Packets are out. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, please check Mr. Lane’s blog or email. The price is the same as last year, $315 per student and $50 for chaperones. All money and forms are due no later than Friday, March 14th. Chaperones are taken on a first come first serve basis as they pay their $50 fee. The Six Flags Trip is open for all band and choir members, grades 6, 7, and 8. There are a few copies of the Six Flags Trip Packet in the bandroom.
